Guam - Bank of Guam received
the Small Business Administration's Lender of the Year Award for supporting
small businesses with over $4.45 million dollars for Fiscal Year 2012. According
to Bank of Guam CEO and chairwoman Lou Leon Guerrero, it's important to support
the small business community as they are the engines of the local economy.
Bank of Guam is also the only bank to work with the Guam Economic
Development Authority on the State Small Business Credit Initiative. Along with
receiving the award, Bank of Guam credit officer Alice Gagarin was named Banker
of the Year.
