Guam - Speaker Judi Won Pat
delivered her weekly address recognizing the four incumbents who didn't get
re-elected. Won Pat said she and her colleagues feel for the loss of four noble
and hardworking colleagues. She thanked
them for their service to the people of Guam
and said they would be missed.
As for her colleagues who were re-elected and the five new
incoming senators, Won Pat said, "We look forward to working with you as
this body has always done in the past, to continue to find solutions for our
people. Let us come together, so that we can work together, for the common good
of this island."
The speaker added that she looks forward to having the 32nd Guam
Legislature tackle the issues of the day and find solutions to improve the
quality of life for all island residents.
