Guam - Parent-teacher
conferences closed out for public schools today. Superintendent Jon Fernandez,
his deputies and other central staff went to various campuses to greet parents
and get their input. "So we're working hand in hand with our principals
and teachers to be very engaged and make sure parents feel welcome and have
opportunities to give us their opinion," he said.
Fernandez urges those with kids who did well to keep their
children on track and for those with kids who need improvement, he advises
parents to spend more time assisting their children.
Parent teacher conferences will be held again at the end of third
quarter.
