Guam - At Adelup, Governor Eddie Calvo's chief of staff Frank
Arriola says while he's pleased with the strong showing for the GOP in the
mayoral races, he felt a Republican majority could have been met had other
former Republican senators or even Senator Frank Blas, Jr. decided to run and
stay in the legislative race.
"But in the end a lot of the career politicians lost a lot of
stock and we could see their stock dropping, and a lot of the new republicans
have really, their stock has shot up," he said. "Our administration is committed to
working with everybody from mayoral level to the legislative level to the
congressional level and we really, really look forward working with them 0659
and there are many challenges ahead."
