Guam - Congratulations to our women's U-16 National Soccer Team for
picking up the 1-0 win over Hong Kong in the
AFC Women's Football Championship qualifier. Team Guam's
lone goal came from Maria Abbey Iriarte in the 2nd half of play. Both teams had
their fare share of shots on goal in the first half with each goalkeeper
stepping up and making saves. Our national team played tough and hung in there
for the win heading into Saturdays match against Chinese Taipei set for 4:30 pm
at the GFA Field in Harmon with momentum on their side.
