Guam - We're less than 24 hours until the general election and this evening, the Guam Election Commission is holding a test election at the University of Guam Field House. Executive director Maria Pangelinan tells KUAM News that all four tabulating machines are working and were transported to Election Central this morning.
She explained, "We will have ballots that are marked up and we will see how they run through the machines and we are testing its accuracy. We have predetermined and arbitrarily marked the ballots and then we will run them through the machines."
Meanwhile, Pangelinan adds that although tomorrow is not a government holiday, public law does allow two hours for employees to vote. She adds voters should bring valid identification and if you're a newly registered voter to bring your yellow copy of affidavit of voter registration.
Polls open tomorrow from 7am to 8pm.
