Guam - Two women are in stable condition and recovering at the Guam Memorial Hospital after they were involved in a serious crash in Tamuning this morning. GPD spokesperson officer AJ Balajadia says the crash happened just after 2am along route 1 near the Denny's restaurant in Tamuning. He says a woman driving a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer heading northbound went over the median and encroached into the oncoming lane. The woman collided with a 1989 Toyota Hilux that was heading southbound. The female passenger inside the Hilux was thrown from the vehicle as it flipped on its side. Rescue officials were able to free the woman who was trapped underneath the vehicle. The man driving the Hilux was treated and released at GMH for his injuries, while the two women remain in stable condition and were admitted to the hospital. Guam Highway Patrol continues to investivate the cause of the crash.
