Guam - With Halloween out of the way, you know what's next: Girl Scout Cookies! Your favorite Thin Mints, Lemonades, Caramel Delights and more are coming back and Girl Scouts will be out beginning tomorrow getting pre-sales. Honorary chair of the Guam Girl Scouts Cookie Program First Lady Christine Calvo joined last year's top sellers to unveil this year's newest flavor.
Olivia Ferguson has been a girl scout for nine years and told KUAM News the new recipe is Mango Creme. "Perfect for Guam," she said, adding, "each box contains crunchy vanilla and coconut cookies with mango-flavored creme filling."
This year's theme is "What Can A Girl Do?", teaching the Girl Scouts they that can learn, grow and try new activities. The annual cookie program teaches the girls how to set goals, make decisions, manage money, develop people skills and learn business ethics. The delicious cookies are expected to arrive in mid-January.
