Guam - The government and the plaintiffs in the ongoing tax refund class action lawsuit have not been able to reach an agreement on the details of a permanent injunction. The parties have asked for the assistance of the magistrate judge.
A settlement conference is scheduled for this Wednesday afternoon and the parties were ordered to provide the court with a confidential outline of each party's positions including areas of agreement and disagreement. The governor's fiscal team was also ordered to attend the settlement conference at two o'clock on Wednesday afternoon.
