Gloria Nelson passes away

Guam - KUAM News has learned from family members that interim Democratic Party of Guam Chairperson Gloria Nelson has passed away. She died at the Guam Memorial Hospital. Nelson was not only involved with the Democratic Party of Guam, but was also a member of the Consolidated Commission on Utilities. She served on numerous government boards and civic organizations. She was a Chairperson of the Elected Territorial Board of Education, a member of the Joint Board of Education and a former Chairperson of the Guam Election Commission. She is the wife of former Senator Ted Nelson.
