Guam - Senator Adolpho Palacios had until today to pay a fine for leaving the scene of an accident he allegedly was involved in last month in Tumon. Palacios was trying to park his vehicle at the Outrigger Hotel parking garage when he realized the parking stall was too small.
The senator claims he immediately moved to another stall, but witnesses claim they saw and heard Palacios' vehicle hit a car and damage it.
The lawmaker contends he never hit a car and will contest the citation during a hearing scheduled for December 4. Palacios says he will have witnesses lined-up, testifying that there was no accident.
