Guam - The community is coming together once again in hopes to save the lives of two Guamanians who are battling life-threatening illnesses. A bone marrow drive will be held onOctober 20 for 16-year-old Kaila Garrido and 37-year-old Eugene Borja, who are both in desperate need of bone marrow transplants.
Residents are asked to take just ten minutes out of their busy schedules to join the Bone Marrow Registry to see if they are a perfect match for Kaila and Eugene or any other patient around the world who are searching for a match.
The bone marrow drive will be held from 10am-6pm next Saturday at the Agana Shopping Center.
