Guam – Alex Castro was released from prison to a third party custodian today after spending the last two months behind bars. Castro was sentenced to three years in prison back in August after being found guilty of 3rd degree aggravated assault, assault and reckless conduct for his part in a 2010 bar fight. Castro posted $50,000 cash bail and will remain under 24 hour house arrest. His attorney, Tom Fisher requested the Supreme Court stay the sentence pending the outcome of
Castro is also set to go to trial in December for a separate aggravated assault and robbery case where he allegedly tied up a man and beat him repeatedly back in 2010.
