Guam - The federal government is seeking the forfeiture of a 2010 Mercedes Benz that they believe was purchased with drug money. The vehicle was found at Julian Robles' Santa Rita home during a raid back in May. Robles was arrested after authorities seized 234 postal letters that contained more than 20 pounds of crystal methamphetamine.
Robles admitted to traveling to California regularly to purchase the drug Ice and then packaged it and mailed it to several addresses on Guam. He also admitted that he paid $49,000 in drug proceeds to buy the Mercedes. Investigators found a 9MM gun and two loaded magazines under the back seat of the car, which Robles admitted was his.
Authorities note that the Mercedes was seized on May 1, but Pamela Salas registered the car under her name 12 days later.
