Guam - Guam's first charter school may be set to open doors on October 23, but have yet to announce a location. According to Guahan Charter Academy spokesperson Therese Arroyo-Matanane, school officials hope to have more information come next week.
The Guahan Academy Charter School is the first charter school to be approved by the Guam Academy Charter School Council two years ago. Although the Council failed to make quorum last month, chair Rosa Palomo says two other charter school hopefuls are under review, including Atdao Charter School and Blue Ocean Charter School.
