Guam - Eight lucky people from key tourism markets around the world will win all expenses paid trips to Guam, as well as $6,000 to shop on the island. Today the Guam Visitors Bureau launched its Shop Guam Festival 2012, the first global social media cooperative marketing campaign.
GVB intends to market Guam as a premier shopping destination in the Western Pacific and will promote tax-free shopping, diverse brand inventory and friendly retail staff. One shopping ambassador will be selected from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, North America and Russia. The campaign is intended to create an interactive shopping experience for visitors.
Winners will be announced on October 26.
