Guam - Department of Education officials along with contractors BME & Sons spent the afternoon walking through newly renovated stem classrooms at George Washington High School. DOE superintendent Jon Fernandez says he's happy with what he sees, but doesn't want to rush the Geckos back into these classrooms by lifting the double-session schedule just yet.
He told KUAM News, "I think that if we want the work done right and done completely we're going to look to extend as far as the first semester."
Fernandez says classrooms still need cabinetry and stem equipment. Phase II will follow with work to the school's elevator.
