Guam - Department of Education employees can expect their rebates tomorrow. According to deputy superintendent of finance and administrative services Taling Taitano, DOE received a lump sum payment of $428,000 from DOA last week but saw delays on whether or not to cut the checks through payroll or accounts payable.
"We're just checking a couple of the calculations we want to make sure before we cut the checks that they're all correct," she said.
Taitano says 2,600 DOE employees will be receiving checks ranging from $3 to $500. Checks will be distributed to schools and not by mail.
