Guam - Due to a high volume of questions raised by potential bidders, an extension has been granted for the submission of bids for office space for the Attorney General's Office. Agency spokesperson Carlina Charfauros says the additional time was provided due to the significant numbers of questions about the office space needs of the Department of Law.
Bids are now due next Tuesday. The Department of Public Works has recommended that the office move out as soon as possible due to concerns about the structural integrity of the Hagatna building. The landlord, Big Bird Enterprises, has not responded to DPW's mandates to hire a structural engineer to assess the building.
