Guam - In IFL Football action the George Washington Geckos escaped with an overtime win at home against the visiting Father Duenas Friars at their home field in Mangilao. G.W earned the 20-14 win in O.T behind quarterback Joseph Carreon who put up 2 early touchdowns in the 4th quarter. F.D managed to answer with 2 scores of their own to keep the game going after regulation time expired. With the win the Gecko's are now 2-1 while the loss drops the Friars to 1-2.
