Guam - After two days of deliberating, a Superior Court jury returned a guilty verdict against 72-year-old Alfredo Nicolas. He is a former contractual school custodian who was accused of inappropriately touching a 5-year-old boy inside the boys bathroom at Liguan Elementary.
Nicolas was found guilty of second degree criminal sexual conduct and faces the potential of three to 15 years behind bars. His defense attorney Howard Trapp meanwhile didn't believe the jury could be found guilty saying the victim could not identify his client in the courtroom and alleging the government failed to prove Nicolas touched the minor for the purpose of sexual arousal or gratification.
Sentencing is scheduled for November 14.
