Guam - The University of Guam's School of Education master of education in administration and supervision program has received full national recognition by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education for meeting all its standards. This isn't the first time the school has gotten full recognition, as it joins the bachelor of arts in elementary education and master of education in reading.
In addition, the bachelor of arts in early childhood education, master of education in special education, and bachelor of arts in physical education received national recognition with conditions.
Dean of the School of Education Dr. Frankie Santos Laanan says, "This special recognition underscores the quality of our programs at the University of Guam."
The school is accredited for two years by NCATE and is scheduled for a full visit in 2013.
