Guam - Hoping to showcase the different "green careers" available along with its rich history and current offerings, the University of Guam will be holding its Green Energy Career Expo and 60th anniversary showcase tomorrow at the Micronesia Mall in Dededo. Center for Island Sustainability coordinator Elvie Tyler and UOG director for development and alumni affairs Norman Analista say it's an event not to be missed.

Tyler said, "So they get a chance to talk to the businesses that will be there tomorrow, as well as the government agencies that promote green business and green careers." Analista added, "When people go to our table displays they can expect to gather information but they can also expect to have a good time with the different program elements that we have."

Displays and information about different green careers available in the renewable and alternative energy fields will be featured along with a song and dance showcase from UOG alumni together with interactive activities and giveaways. The event is free and takes place from 10am to 3pm.
