Guam - In volleyball news
the Haggan Volleyball Fundraiser Tournament brought out 7 men's teams for
competition. The tournament was held to help raise funds for the team's trip to
Hilo Hawaii
in March of next year. The men's team from Haggan beat out Team Sakudi in the
final match going 3 sets, 25-22, 21-25, 15-11.
12 women's teams took part in the tournament with 7 high school
teams, 1 middle school team and 4 adult teams competing. The Haggan women's
team defeated Kamali'I in 2 sets 25-18, 25-22. Keeping with volleyball, the 3rd
Annual Rota Fiesta Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, September
30th at the UOG Field House.
The Men's teams will play in the morning with Showtime set for
8:30am-12:30 and the Women's will be set for Showtime at 12:30pm and will play
in the afternoon. Proceeds will go towards the San Francisco de Borja Church.
