Guam - Republican Party of Guam chairman Mike Benito spoke before Rotarians
today on the party's history on Guam and outlined the GOP's strategic platform
and contract to the people, which includes building a prosperous economy,
working collaboratively with the Department of Defense and federal government
with the buildup and honoring our veterans.
"The only way we're going to this thing done, the only way
Guam is going to be become better, stronger and take advantage of this economic
opportunity that is before us right now is with a republican majority," he
said. "I can assure you of that."
Other parts of the platform include protecting families from
crime, using technology to improvement government operations and leading by
example with fiscal responsibility. Meanwhile, beginning this weekend, Republican
senatorial candidates will be giving back to the community in support of sports
and sportsmanship by adopting and maintaining some of the island school
football and soccer fields.
