Guam - Team Guam Olympic
swimmer Pilar Shimizu finished up her event at the games with a second
place finish in her heat of the 100-meter breaststroke. Shimizu finished with a new personal best
time of 1:15:76, beating her previous best time of 1:16:19. That wraps up Shimizu's competition for the games, as she came in
behind of Bosnia and
Herzegovina swimmer Ivana Ninkovic, who
finished with a time of 1:14:04.
Shimizu did beat out swimmers
from Fiji, Azerbaijan, Mongolia
and Guinea.
