Circle K along with a host of other sponsors held their 3rd Annual
"Paddles Against Cancer" event at Matapang Beach.
21 teams took part in the fundraising event that is held yearly to bring
families together in the battle against cancer.
Nicole Murphy said,
"This year we had 21 entries and last year we had 14 so we have grown by
50 percent over last year. So this was a great jump as far as participation.
It's a great way to get out of the office and get with your fellow employees on
to the water and enjoy Guam's beautiful
scenery and there's no other way to do it. We want to thank everyone for coming
out and supporting this event. Our raising money to fight cancer is a great way
to bond with your team and company as well as your employees. We really
appreciate the support from all the companies involved and we hope to see you
all again next year."
