Guam - Governor's chief of staff Frank Arriola is back on Guam, after traveling to the nation's capitol with Governor Eddie Calvo. Aside from progress and discussions on the military buildup and Section 30 reimbursements, Arriola adds talks with the Department of Defense and Department of Navy Under Secretary Robert Work also focused on the china visa waiver.

He said, "It looks we're very optimistic with what we're doing. Secretary Work has played a very vital role in this military buildup he worked very closely with the Treasury Department relative to the Section 30 issue, he has promised to provide as much attention and diligence on the China visa waiver program as he has on the Section 30 issue. So we feel very confident that the DoD will look at this very closely and we think we're pretty optimistic about it."

Governor Calvo is scheduled to arrive this evening, a press conference to provide more specific details about the recent trip to Washington is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
