Educational forums begin

Guam - The first of a number of parent and teacher forums were held on Saturday as the Governor's Education Task Force seeks concerns, complaints and ideas to change public education for the benefit of the island's students. Another set of forums will be held on March 10.

For those who teach or if your child goes to any school in Dededo or Yigo, the parent forum will be held at Okkodo High School's cafeteria from 9am to 12pm.  A teacher's forum will be at held at the same place from 1-4 in the afternoon.

For parents whose children attend school in the central villages of Tamuning, Barrigada, Mangilao, Mongmong-Toto-Maite. Hagatna. Agana Heights, Chalan Pago, Ordot, Sinajana, Asan-Maina or Piti, Your forum will be held at the Tamuning Elementary School's cafeteria from 9am to 12pm.  The teacher forum will be held at the school's cafeteria from 1-4.

For parents of kids attending school in Santa Rita, Agat, Umatac, Merizo, Inarajan, Talofofo or Yona, the forum will be held at the Merizo Martyrs Elementary School cafeteria from 9am to 12pm.
