Guam - The Guam Bar Association intends to conduct a survey among its membership to come up with a list of recommendations for a new Superior Court judge. Judge Elizabeth Barrett-Andersen announced her retirement effective the end of March. Guam Bar president Cynthia Ecube says once a vacancy is officially announced by the Judiciary, the organization will poll its members to see who they feel is most qualified to sit on the bench.

The bar traditionally submits the top names to the governor for his consideration.
