Lawmakers going into session Monday for Bill 431

Guam – Speaker Judith Won Pat is calling the Guam Legislature into session tomorrow to discuss emergency legislation that would keep the status quo of the islands senior centers. Health Committee chairperson Senator Dennis Rodriguez Jr. introduced Bill 431 that provides for a limited extension to the contract between the Department of Public Health and GovGuam Association of Retired Persons(GGARP) until a new bidding process is complete. The current contract is due to expire on February 29th.  

Session is scheduled for Monday, February 27th at 2pm
