Guam - The Educational
Learning Task Force's Facility Repairs, Renovation, and New Schools Action Team
as well as the Learning Resources Action Team met today. Task Force Chairperson
Vince Leon Guerrero said, "All of this designed for our committee to get a
better understanding of what needs to be in a standard classroom: elementary,
middle, and high in order for us to properly equip it, including at this point,
we're talking about instructional materials."
The committees also discussed possible redistricting and
where new schools need to be built. The recommended middle school plan suggests
moving Liguan attendance areas from Untalan
Middle School to Vicente
Benavente Middle
School and moving Mongmong-Toto-Maite attendance areas to Untalan Middle School. The movement will allow
for comfortable populations at all the schools while only affecting 461
students.
