Guam - The third and final
suspect responsible for the March 2010 murder of Vince Peredo plead guilty to
the murder charges in superior court today. Derrick Cruz admitted in court that
he and his co-defendants, Zared Lizama and Cal Jerome Delorie, went to Peredo's
Yona home to steal marijuana. Cruz then picked up a baseball bat and struck Peredo
multiple times, before the trio tied him up and left him to die.
Cruz like his co-defendants faces life in prison with the
change of parole after 25 years. The three will be sentenced on March 16.
