Guam - The Cars Plus Rams and Pepsi Warriors went to work on Sunday in the Miller Football League. The Rams struck first when Jesse Manglona went in from a yard out to give the Rams a 7-0 lead. Quarterback Will Williams put the Rams up 13-0 after he took it down the left side of the field for the 5-yard score.
The Warriors pounded the ball out on the ground to keep the chains moving and get into scoring range late in the second quarter. After a Hosea Ware run, quarter back Eric Fejeran hit Sandy Fejeran for the 35-yard touchdown pass to bring Pepsi to with in 6. Minutes later linebacker Mike Quinata would force the fumble, teammate Justin Andre scooped up the loose ball and ran it in for the 30-yard score giving the Warriors a 14-13 lead.
The Cars Plus Rams would wind up taking the game 35-28 on a last-second Jesse Manglona score to help start their season off at 1-0.
