Guam - Lawmakers have wrapped up their voting for February Session. The remaining measures and appointments were voted on:

Bill 400: A.B. Palacios, Sr.

An act to amend §85.26 of Chapter 85, 9GCA, relative to the conduct of deliberations and voting on parole actions by the Guam Parole Board. 

Bill 300:  Sam Mabini, Ph.D.

An act amending Title 5 Guam Code Annotated, Chapter 60, §60113 Item "A," and the addition of a new §60113 item "B", relative to amending the authorization of the Department of Agriculture to administer and collect fees.

Vote on Appointments:

Guam Solid Waste Authority Board of Directors

Joseph W. Duenas: Unanimous/ Confirmed

Alexander Taitano: Unanimous/ Confirmed

 

Public Utilities Commission

Michael A. Pangelinan: Unanimous/ Confirmed

 

Unarmed Combat Commission

Jonathon Ulloa: Unanimous/ Confirmed

Only one bill failed to garner enough legislative support:

Bill 158: D.G. Rodriguez, Jr

An act to establish an urgent care center for outpatient medical services within the Guam Memorial Hospital premises to alleviate congestion and costs in the emergency room, by adding a new §80122 to Chapter 80, Division 4, Title 10 Guam Code Annotated. 

Lawmakers adjourned Session at 11:12 this morning subject to the call of the Speaker.
