Lounge Karaoke Lounge owner Song Ja Cha may be seeking a new trial, but she'll
have to find a new attorney to represent her.
Defense attorney Howard Trapp has moved to withdrawal as her legal
counsel.
Trapp could not disclose specifics in his request to the
court but noted that she has been uncooperative and that there were good
grounds for him to withdraw from her case.
He has asked for a hearing to present his concerns to the
court. Cha was convicted of sex trafficking by force, coercion and enticement
to travel for prostitution and conspiracy.
She remains behind bars awaiting sentencing.
