Guam - Guam Environmental
Protection Agency administrator Ivan Quinata turned in his resignation
today. Quinata declined to give a reason
for his decision, but the Governor's Office confirms he will return to his
position as chief engineer at Guam EPA this Wednesday.
Governor's deputy press secretary Natalie Quinata could not
confirm if the resignation is part of the administration's ongoing cabinet
shuffling as assessments were recently conducted on the performance of all
department heads. We're told more details
as well as who will be tapped to replace him are forthcoming.
