Guam - It's a an opportunity for you to save a life by taking
a moment out of your busy schedule to register for the bone marrow drive.
44-year-old former Guam resident Joey
Tyquiengco and 22-year-old UCLA graduate Janet Liang need to find matches by April.
Yigo resident Rachel Martin, 20, hopes that her half-Chuukese blood could help
someone in need.
Firefighter Mark
Terlaje hopes the public will come out and register as he has been a match and
donated twice to the same individual in Hawaii.
He said, "I've never done anything like this before. so it was a good
experience...it's very rewarding knowing that you have given somebody that
extra time to be with their family and I challenge everybody who wants to
question saving a life."
The bone
marrow drive started today and runs through Saturday from 1-6pm and Sunday from
10am-4pm at the Guam Premier Outlets.
