Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo responded to Speaker's Judi Won Pat address,
saying he looks forward to working with the speaker and members of the Guam
Legislature to effectuate the priorities for education as mentioned in his State
of the Island Address.
"She
shares our belief in this administration that we all come together and let's
focus on our education system on what we can do to improve the quality of
education, not just the physical plant but the quality of education and
curriculum for our students," he said.
He adds his
end goal is to ultimately help our young Guamanians graduate from high school
and either pursue their way to college or head into the workforce.
