Guam - In surfing, the Rick's Reef Classic Surfing Competition
will be held February 18 at the Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort. This year's event marks the fifth year of the
surfing and body-boarding competition. There should be a minimum of four
competitors in a category for any heat to proceed," said Guahan Napu Inc.

The
federation is also seeking volunteers to judge the competition. A judging
clinic will be conducted on Feb. 15 prior to the contest. Pre-registration for
the contest will open on Friday, Feb. 17 between 5:30 and 8 p.m. at the
Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort poolside bar "Surfers' Point". Contest
fee is $30 per category. Signups will not be accepted on the event day.
