Guam - The Public Utilities Commission is scheduled to meet on Monday to act on a request that would help reduce your power bill. The Guam Power Authority had requested an adjustment in the Levelized Energy Adjustment Clause back in December that was supposed to take affect on February 1, but the PUC didn't have quorum to meet last week.
The LEAC was supposed to result in a $5 decrease for the average residential customer. PUC legal counsel Fred Horecky says should the Commission approve the adjustment on Monday night, it could still be included in this month's billing.
