Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo signed a proclamation during today's Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam annual appreciation reception declaring February Mentoring Awareness Month. Organization case manager Tim Reynolds told KUAM News, "Everyday mentors are out in the community taking their time to make a difference in the life of a child through setting a positive example, sharing knowledge; wisdom and experience mentors give young Guamanians the guidance and support they need to overcome challenges and become successful and active adults."

The organization also presented Distinguished Service Awards to Angelo Bumagat, Michael Camacho and Josie Moyer for their participation in the program.

Pangelinan has not been available for an interview.
