Guam - Improving services, fighting poverty, and building a new economy and the community of the future will be the three key messages presented when Governor Eddie Calvo delivers his 2012 State of the Island address on Tuesday. According to a press release from the Governor's Office, the speech will not have a typical list of ‘achievements,' though the Governor will explain how the actions in his first year in office did affect the quality of life of Guamanians by either improving services or fighting poverty.
The address is also expected to include the Calvo administration's aggressive economic agenda and plans to develop the community of the future through infrastructure projects and education. Residents can watch the address live on KUAM-TV8 at 6:30pm on Tuesday. It will also be simulcast live on KUAM Isla 630 and streamed live on KUAM.com.
