Guam - The Guam Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division has launched a death investigation to determine the circumstances involving the death of Agat resident Lydia Grigley. The 49-year-old woman was preparing for her early morning walk but while she was stretching a concrete pillar fell on top of her.
The incident occurred at a home along Route 2a and Camachili Street just before eight o'clock this morning. Chief medical examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola pronounced Grigley dead at the scene. She died from a skull fracture.
Grigley was a special ed teacher at Oceanview Middle School.
