Guam - Guam Kyokushin
Karate will host the 5th Freshman Karate Tournament Saturday, February 18th at
the Dededo Sports Complex. A freshman tournament gives up and coming Kyokushin
karate practitioners experience in the full contact knockdown karate format.
Over 40 competitors are expected to participate in various age and gender
categories.
In addition to the novice tournament format there will be
special single matches for experienced fighters. This event will follow
standard rules set forth by the International Karate Organization
Kyokushinkaikan.
Tickets are $5 in advance and are available at the Hagatna
Martial Arts Center and through members of Guam Kyokushin Karate and $8 at the
door. Doors open at 10 a.m.
