Guam - The Guam Land Use Commission will meet tomorrow afternoon and among the topics of discussion include a new zip line project. Zip Guam, Inc. requests to amend a previously approved tentative development plan for a proposed zip facility at the Guam Hilton Hotel.
GLUC chairman Jay Lather says Zip Guam's plans look clean and does not see any major problems possibly moving forward with the project.
The Commission meanwhile will hear on two zone change requests into multi-family dwellings - one from Hanjin Heavy Industries for a proposed low-density residential subdivision in Piti; the other being from Pil Soo Oh, representing Igancio Santos, to construct two, three-story structures consisting of 24 multi-family dwellings in Chalan Pago. Lather says there might be some issues with these proposals as some members of the community have opposed these projects.
The GLUC meeting takes place Thursday at 1:30pm at the GEDA Board Room in the ITC Building in Tamuning.
