Guam - Opening games for the Oceania AAA 18 Under Baseball
Tournament starts Friday with the CNMI taking on New Zealand at 4pm at the Paseo
Stadium. Guam will take to the field at 7:00 pm against Australia in
the later game. The 4 teams are vying for a chance to represent their country
in the 2012 International Baseball Federation 18 Under Baseball World
Championships to be played in Korea.
The format will be double round robin with the first and
second place teams to play a single game for Gold and Silver. Third and Fourth
place teams after the round robin will play a single game for bronze.
The tournament is sponsored by Guam Major League Inc. and
the Department of Parks and Recreation.
