Guam gymnasts compete in Hawaii Gymfest

Guam - Gymnasts from Island Twisters competed in Kailua Hawaii in the Aloha Gymfest that was held on the 13th through the 15th with 350 gymnasts from 6 different countries competing. Lexi Lee-Sang placed 2nd All-Around with a score of 36.10. She placed 2nd on beam with a 9.10, 2nd on floor with a 9.30 and 3rd on bars with a 9.30.

Olivia Ferguson placed 3rd All-Around with a score of 36.05. She finished first on beam with a 9.20, 6th on bars with a 9.0, 7th on floor as well as 7th on vault.

Ava Ramos made history being the youngest member of the Guam team to compete in an international meet. Ava placed 8th All-Around. She placed 6th on bars with an 8.80, 8th on floor and 8th on beam.

Last year's competitor Aisha Tangi attended the competition to support her teammates but was unable to compete because of an injury.
