Guam - Several members of the community shared consistent observation with Chief of Police Fred Bordallo about a traffic pull-over done by uniformed officers in marked patrol vehicles. Bordallo says the concern is officers are not completely pulling off the roadway making it possible for other motorists to either strike the patrol unit or the officer.
"I've issued out a directive to all of the department police officers that are out there that if you are doing routine traffic stop ensure the vehicle that you stop is off the shoulder of the roadway including the patrol car," he explained.
The top brass says he was trained to completely pull off the roadway when doing a routine vehicle pull-over.
