Guam - Guam Community College nursing student Jimmy Lomibao is waiting to see if the government will award him $300,000 for injuries he sustained during an airport exercise last year. Lomibao filed a government claim after he suffered a broken nose and bruises after he was allegedly assaulted during the airport's trienniel disaster exercise.
His attorney, Douglas Moylan, says the claim awaits action by the airport board. An airport safety officer was terminated and an airport officer was suspended for allegedly assaulting Lomibao during the exercise.
